The Rain Makers is a 2005 English-language Action Drama movie written by Ray Ellingsen and Chintapally Ramana. The movie is directed by Ray Ellingsen and A. Mallikarjun and produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Sri Rock Line Movies. A man returns to his small home town from the Vietnam War and discovers corruption, graft, a crooked Sheriff and other dirty deeds. The rain makers stars Kalyan Ram, Ramya, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Pawan Malhotra, Jake Busey, Ray Wise and Jason Wozny. The music was composed by Mani Sharma. Cinematography was done by V Srinivasa Reddy and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. It was released on 15th January 2005. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Sri Rock Line Movies.
