The Secret Garden is a 2017 English-language Family film directed by Marc Munden and produced by David Heyman and Rosie Alison under the banner of StudioCanal in collaboration with Heyday Films. Steampunk update of the classic tale by Frances Hodgson Burnett, with orphaned teen Mary Lennox discovering the magic and mystery of the secret garden. The secret garden features Colin Firth in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Julie Walters, Dixie Egerickx, Edan Hayhurst, Amir Wilson, Glennellen Anderson and Amanda Waters. The screenplay is written by Jack Thorne which is inspired from The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The music was composed by Dario Marianelli.
