The Secret Path is a 1999 English-language Biography Drama movie. The young daughter of an abusive grandfather finds happiness when she is with an older black couple. Her mother tries to overcome the family's problems, but is constantly beat back by her controlling father. Written by John Sacksteder. The secret path stars Della Reese in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Crystal Bernard, Madeline Zima, Yvonne Zima, Ron White, Yolanda King and Ossie Davis. It was released on 4th April 1999.
