The Servant is a 2010 Korean-language Comedy Drama motion picture written and directed by Kim Dae-woo and produced by Moon Yang-kwon, Im Seung-yong, Seo Woo-sik and Park Dae-hee under the banner of Barunson in collaboration with SIO Film. Bangja is visited in his cell, first by Mr. Ma, who warns him to never beg a woman to stay, then by Chunhyang, who reveals that she and Mong-ryong planned the whole event after he returned from his exams. The servant stars Kim Joo-hyuk in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jo Yeo-jeong, Ryoo Seung-bum, Ju-hyuk Kim, Seung-bum Ryoo, Yeo-jeong Jo and Hyeon-kyeong Ryu. The music was composed by Mok Young-jin. Cinematography was done by Kim Young-min and editing by Kim Sang-bum. The film has a running time of 124 minutes. It was released on 3rd June 2010.
