The Test is a 1935 English-language Action Adventure film written by James Oliver Curwood and L. V. Jefferson. The movie is directed by Bernard B. Ray and produced by Bernard B. Ray and Harry S. Webb. Rinnie is asked to guard the furs of his master, fur trapper Brule Conway. When Rinnie is lured away by another female dog, Conway's winter furs are stolen by Black Wolf, a henchman for the French-Canadian trapper Pepite La Joie. After a series of adventures, Rinnie masterfully captures the evil doers and returns with the furs, winning the hearts of all. Written by. The test stars Rin Tin Tin Jr. in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Grant Withers, Grace Ford, Monte Blue, Lafe Mckee, Jimmy Aubrey and Artie Ortego. Cinematography was done by J. Henry Kruse and Abe Scholtz and editing by Frederick Bain. The film has a running time of 59 minutes. It was released on 11th May 1935. The motion picture made a box office gross of $6 million.
