The Treacherous is a 2015 Korean-language History Romance film written by Yoon-seong Lee, Kyu-dong Min and Min Kyu-dong. The movie is directed by Kyu-dong Min and Min Kyu-dong and produced by Min Jin-su under the banner of Soo Film. The story of Joseon's tyrant king Yeonsan who exploits the populace for his own carnal pleasures, his mingly loyal retainer who controls him and all court dealings, and a woman who ks vengeance. The treacherous stars Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Kang-woo, Lim Ji-yeon, Ji-hun Ju, Kang-woo Kim, Ho-jin Chun and You-young Lee. The music was composed by Kim Jun-seong. Cinematography was done by Park Hong-ryeol and editing by Kim Sun-min. The motion picture has a running time of 132 minutes. It was released on 21st May 2015. The Treacherous was made on a budget of ₹700 crore and at the box office it grossed only $8 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Lotte Entertainment.
