The White Orchid is a 1954 English-language Adventure Romance film written by David Duncan and directed by Reginald Le Borg and produced by Reginald Le Borg under the banner of Cosmos Productions in collaboration with Producciones Eduardo Quevedo S.A. The white orchid features William Lundigan, Peggie Castle, Armando Silvestre, Rosenda Monteros, Jorge Trevi O, Jorge Treviño and Ballet Moderno De Mexico. The screenplay is written by Reginald Le Borg and David Duncan. The music was composed by Antonio D Az Conde. Cinematography was done by Enrique Wallace and Gilbert Warrenton and editing by Jos W. Bustos. The motion picture has a running time of 81 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1954. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by United Artists. An archaeologist working in Southern Mexico believes that there are remnants of the ancient Toltec civilization in a remote area. He requests a photographer, and is frustrated when he is sent a young woman to do the job. He continually annoys her with his narrow-minded remarks, yet she takes the pictures he requests of a local fiesta, and later she convinces a plantation owner from the area to be their guide. As they begin the trip in search of the archaeologist's goal, he begins to respect the young photographer. But as both he and their guide become increasingly attracted to her, tensions begin to build, even as they face ever-increasing dangers. Written by Snow Leopard
