The Whole Nine Yards is a 2000 English-language Comedy Crime movie written by Mitchell Kapner and directed by Jonathan Lynn and produced by Allan Kaufman and David Willis under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions in collaboration with Franchise Pictures, Rational Packaging and Lansdown Films. A struggling dentist's life is turned upside down when a famous gangster moves in next door, and his wife convinces him to inform a notorious mob boss about the gangster's whereabouts. The whole nine yards features Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry, Rosanna Arquette, Michael Clarke Duncan, Natasha Henstridge, Amanda Peet and Rumer Willis. The music was composed by Randy Edelman. Cinematography was done by David Franco and editing by Tom Lewis. The motion picture has a running time of 98 minutes. It was released on 18th February 2000. The Whole Nine Yards was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $26 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Warner Bros.
