Animation, testimony, and archival footage combine to relate the events of August 1, 1966 when a gunman opened fire from the University of Texas clock tower, killing 16 people. Tower features Violett Beane in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Louie Arnette, Blair Jackson, Monty Muir, Chris Doubek, Reece Everett Ryan and Josephine Mcadam. The motion picture is based on 96 Minutes by Pamela Colloff. The music was composed by Ossei Essed. Cinematography was done by Keith Maitland and Sarah Wilson and editing by Austin Reedy. The movie has a running time of 82 minutes. It was released on 3rd February 2017 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The movie made a box office gross of $0 million.
