Trisoolam is a 1979 tamil-language Drama motion picture written by A. L. Narayanan and directed by K. Vijayan and produced by Santhi Narayansamy, and T. Manohar under the banner of Sivaji Productions. Two separated brothers need to fight against their father's vicious friends to reunite their father and mother to live happily together. Trisoolam stars Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role along with K. R. Vijaya, Sripriya, Reena, Shivaji Ganesan and K.r. Vijaya in supporting roles. The movie is based on Shankar Guru by V. Somashekhar. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Cinematography was done by K. S. Prasad and T. S. Vinayagam and editing by B. Kandhasamy. It was released on 27th January 1979.
