Two for the Money is a 2005 English-language Drama Sport film written by Dan Gilroy and directed by D.j. Caruso and D. J. Caruso and produced by James G. Robinson, Jay Cohen and Guy Mcelwaine under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions. After suffering a career-ending knee injury, a former college football star aligns himself with one of the most renowned touts in the sports-gambling business. Two for the money stars Al Pacino in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Matthew Mcconaughey, Rene Russo, Armand Assante, Jeremy Piven, Jaime King and Kevin Chapman. The music was composed by Christophe Beck. Cinematography was done by Conrad W. Hall and editing by Glen Scantlebury. The movie has a running time of 122 minutes. It was released on 7th October 2005. Two for the Money was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $38 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Universal Pictures.
