Umrika is a 2015 Hindi-language Comedy Drama film written and directed by Prashant Nair and produced by Swati Shetty and Manish Mundra under the banner of Drishyam Films. A small village in India is invigorated when one of their own travels to America (aka, UMRIKA) and details his adventures through letters home.. Umrika stars Suraj Sharma in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tony Revolori, Prateik Babbar, Smita Tambe, Sauraseni Maitra, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang. The screenplay is written by Prashant Nair. The music was composed by Dustin O'halloran. Cinematography was done by Petra Korner and editing by Xavier Box and Patricia Rommel.
