Uyarndha Ullam is a 1985 Tamil-language Drama Action motion picture written by Panchu Arunachalam and directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by M. Saravanan and M. Balasubramanian under the banner of AVM Productions. It revolves around a spoilt heir who lavishly squanders his inheritance, bringing ruin to his life. Uyarndha ullam stars Kamal Haasan in the title role along with Janagaraj, Y.g. Mahendran, Ramasami V.k., Radha Ravi, Kovai Sarala, Major Sundarrajan and Ambika Ravikanth in supporting roles. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja. Cinematography was done by T. S. Vinayagam and editing by R. Vittal and S. B. Mohan. It was released on 27th July 1985.
