Uyarntha Manithan is a 1968 Tamil-language film directed by Krishnan Panju and produced by A. V. Meiyappan, M. Saravanan, M. Kumaran and M. Murugan under the banner of AVM Productions. Uyarntha manithan features Sivaji Ganesan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sowcar Janaki, Ashokan, Bharathi, Shivaji Ganesan, Showkar Janaki and S.v. Ramadoss. The screenplay is written by Javar Seetharaman which is inspired from Uttar Purush by Chitrakar. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Cinematography was done by P. N. Sundaram and editing by S. Panjabi and O. Narasimhan. The motion picture has a running time of 168 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1968.
