Vellayani Paramu is a 1979 Malayalam-language Drama movie written by Pappanamkodu Lakshmanan and directed by J Sasikumar and J. Sasikumar and produced by E. K. Thyagarajan under the banner of Sree Murugalaya Films. Vellayani paramu features Prem Nazir in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jayan, Adoor Bhasi, Jayabharathi Nair, Janardanan, Meena and Sankaradi. The music was composed by G. Devarajan. Cinematography was done by C. Ramachandra Menon and editing by V. P. Krishnan. It was released on 23rd February 1979. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Dinny Films.
