Village of the Damned is a 1995 English-language Horror Sci-Fi film directed by John Carpenter and produced by Michael Preger and Sandy King under the banner of Alphaville Films. Following the blackout, ten women of child-bearing age mysteriously fall pregnant, including a virgin girl and a married woman who has not been sexually active for a year due to her husband being away for work in Tokyo. The screenplay is written by David Himmelstein which is inspired from The Midwich Cuckoos by John Wyndham Village of the Damned by Stirling Silliphant Wolf Rilla George Barclay. The music was composed by John Carpenter along with Dave Davies. Cinematography was done by Gary B. Kibbe and editing by Edward A. Warschilka. The motion picture has a running time of 98 minutes.
