The movie is directed by Jose Javier Reyes and produced by Vic Del Rosario Jr., Atty. Annette Gozon-abrogar and Tony Gloria under the banner of Viva Films in collaboration with GMA Films and Unitel Pictures. Continuing the tradition of national artist Ishmael Bernal's benchmark film Working Girls after 25 years.. Working girls stars Eugene Domingo in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Ruffa Gutierrez, Iza Calzado, Jennylyn Mercado, Cristine Reyes, Eula Valdez and Bianca King. The music was composed by Jesse Lucas. Cinematography was done by Rodolfo Y. Aves Jr. and editing by Claire Villareal. The motion picture has a running time of 110 minutes. It was released on 21st April 2010 in Filipino and English languages. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₱33 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Viva Films.
