Zane: Sunde wa ikenai heya is a 2015 Japanese-language Horror film directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura and produced by Yoshihiro Nakamura and Fumitsugu Ikeda under the banner of Happinet. I is a successful writer of mystery-novels. One day she receives a letter from Kobu, a young student who recently moved into an apartment near her university. At night she hear strange noises and scary voices that got her afraid. She pleads I to help her. As a mystery-writer, I smells the ultimate story and decides to help Kobu. Together they uncover the truth about the people who lived in Kobu's apartment before. And it is a dark story full of anger, hatred, murder and suicide. Written by Anonymus. Zane: sunde wa ikenai heya stars Y Ko Takeuchi in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Mansaku Fuwa, Ai Hashimoto, Ryô Narita, Kentarô Sakaguchi, Kuranosuke Sasaki and Hiroshi Suzuki. The screenplay is written by Kenichi Suzuki which is inspired from Zang-e by Fuyumi Ono. The music was composed by Goro Yasukawa. Cinematography was done by Yukihiro Okimura. The film has a running time of 107 minutes. It was released on 30th January 2016. The motion picture made a box office gross of $3 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Shochiku.
