Dinosaur Train is a 2009 English-language Animation Family show developed by Craig Bartlett directed by Craig Bartlett and Terry Izumi and produced by Sue Bea Montgomery under the banner of Info-communications Media Development Authority in collaboration with Sparky Animation, The Jim Henson Company, FableVision, Snee-Oosh and Inc. for PBS. The series premiered on September 7, 2009. Friendly dinosaurs climb aboard a train to visit different times throughout the prehistoric age, learning about dinosaurs and having fun adventures. Dinosaur train stars Ian James Corlett, Erika-shaye Gair, Claire Margaret Corlett, Ellen Kennedy, Colin Murdock, Philip Corlett and Meg Roe. The music was composed by Jim Lang along with Mike Himelstein and Michael Silversher. The series has a running time of 28 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 100 episodes during it's run of 5 seasons. It was released on 1st September 2009. Distribution rights for the series were acquired by The Jim Henson Company.
