Faking It is a 2014 English-language Comedy Drama show created by Carter Covington, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov. The show was Produced by Nellie Nugiel and Stefanie Leder under the banner of Viacom Media Networks airing on MTV. After numerous attempts of trying to be popular, two best friends decide to fake being lesbians. They are launched into instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma and Amy decide to keep up their romantic ruse; but Amy has than popularity on her mind as she falls for Karma. Faking it features Rita Volk in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Katie Stevens, Gregg Sulkin, Michael Willett, Bailey De Young, Michael J. Willett and Rebecca Mcfarland. The music was composed by Andrew Dost. Cinematography was done by Doug Emmett and Massimiliano Trevis and editing by Robin Katz, Thomas M. Bolger, Gabriel Fleming, Brad Katz and Robert Lattanzio.
