My Hero is a 1952 English-language Comedy show developed by Paul Mendelson written by Paul Mayhew-archer and directed by John Stroud and produced by John Stroud and Jamie Rix under the banner of Big Bear Films airing on BBC One. A well-meaning but bumbling real-estate agent always getting into trouble with his boss and has to be constantly rescued by his secretary, who loves him. My hero stars Ardal O'hanlon in the title role along with an ensemble cast including James Dreyfus, Emily Joyce, Hugh Dennis, Geraldine Mcnulty, Lou Hirsch and Philip Whitchurch. The music was composed by Philip Pope. Editing was done by Mykola Pawluk and Graham Hutchings. The show has a running time of 30 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 51 episodes during it's run of 6 seasons.
