Nichols and produced by Walt Kubiak and Cos Anzilotti under the banner of Ruby-Spears Enterprises in collaboration with Carolco Pictures. for First-run syndication. On Colonel Trautman's request, John Rambo leads special unit The Force of Freedom against paramilitary terrorist organization S.A.V.A.G.E. (Specialist-Administrators of Vengeance, Anarchy and Global Extortion) all over the globe. The series is based on First Blood by David Morrell. The music was composed by Haim Saban along with Shuki Levy. The show has a running time of 25 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 65 episodes.
