Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy is a 2019 English-language Animation series created by Nicole Dubuc directed by Art Director:, Luca Centofanti and Episodic Directors: and produced by Peter Lewis and Mikiel Houser under the banner of Boulder Media Limited in collaboration with Allspark Animation. airing on Discovery Family. The show premiered on January 5, 2019. Five young recruits from Cybertron train to be rescue bots at The Rescue Bots Academy on Earth. Hot Shot, Whirl, Hoist, Medix and Wedge learn the value of teamwork, courage and friendship as they pass simulated and real rescue challenges. Under the guidance of Optimus Prime, Heatwave and Boulder they aim to one day be super heroes in their own right. Transformers: rescue bots academy stars Keyon Williams, Adam Andrianopolous, Pierce Cravens, Mason Hensley, Courtney Shaw and Alan Trinca. The series is based on Transformers by Hasbro and Takara Tomy. The music was composed by Stuart Kollmorgen along with Doug Califano, Keiffer Infantino and Matt Mahaffey.
