Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Haidergarh has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 51%. In Haidergarh, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age. Haidergarh at present is having one Post Graduate College named as Gramyanchal Vidyalaya, 2 Intermediate Colleges viz Sarvajankik Vidyala and Rashtriya Vidyalaya, 1 Girls InterCollege. Since it is cattering the needs of people north of Gomati River, the infrastructure is not enough. This Town is located on Lucknow - Sultanpur Road.
