About Halol

Halol is a city and a municipality in Panchmahal district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Located in Western india, it has an average elevation of 499metres (1637feet). Halol and the nearby city of Kalol are known as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Many large companies are located here including Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, HNG Float Glass, General Motors, Mekaster Engineering Ltd, Integra Hindustan Control Ltd, SETCO Automotive, CEAT Tyres, GUNNEBO, and Panchmahal Steel,Grandtech engineering works, Windar Renewable Energy, Siemens. There is Pavagadh which is known for the Mahakali temple. There is a Jama masjid, vadatalav near the halol-pavagadh region.
