Harishchandrapur I (community development block) (Bengali: I ) is an administrative division in Chanchal subdivision of Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Harishchandrapur police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Harishchandrapur. Harishchandrapur is located at 2525N 8753E / 25.42N 87.88E / 25.42; 87.88. Harishchandrapur I community development block has an area of 171.40 sq km. Gram panchayats of Harischandrapur I block/ panchayat samiti are: Kushida, Boroi, Rashidabad, Tulshihata, Bhingole, Mahendrapur and Harishchandrapur.
