It is a Haryana Legislative Assembly constituency segment, within the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency. Hodal is located at 2754N 7722E / 27.9N 77.37E / 27.9; 77.37. It has an average elevation of 190metres (623feet). Hodal is situated at a distance of 88 kilometres (55mi) from Delhi and 105 kilometres (65mi) from Agra on highway NH-2.
