Jannaram Mandal is situated in Adilabad District of the Andhra Pradesh state in South India. It falls under the Telangana region. Jannaram became mandal with effect from May 22, 1985. Before which it was in the Luxettipet Taluka. Jannaram is the forest Division. The Division had a saw mill which is closed now. The Divisional level forest offices are located here. After delimitation, Jannaram presently falls in Khanapur Assembly Constituency. It was in the Luxettipet Assembly Constituency. Present khanapur MLA is Suman Rathode In the early 90s and 80s, Jannaram was famous for its timber depo and government saw mill. Jannaram was once upon a time famous for thick bamboo forests in areas like Kalleda, Dongapalli, Islampur. So many forest contractors like M. V.
