Kanigiri is a town and a Mandal in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Kanigiri(Rockcity) is a historic place as the capital city of the kingdom ruled by "Katama Raju" . There are some historical monuments in and around the hill. These monuments include fort, wells at lodurgam and chennamukkabai (which is a well with seven wells depth constructed by katam raju). The only way through which we can reach lodurgam is on foot, which seems like an adventure. The surroundings of it are really beautiful.
