Khambhalia is a city and a municipality in Jamnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is the second biggest town after Jamnagar city in the District. Khambhalia has a population of approximately 150,000. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Khambhalia has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 62%. In Khambhalia, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age. Khambhalia is a very old city with an old and still damaged partial Kille bandhi. You may find it on your way to famous Dwarka. You have to go through it if you are to travel to Salaya (a notorious port ages ago).
