Kukshi is a town and a nagar panchayat in Dhar district in the southwestern Madhya Pradesh state in central India. It is the administrative headquarters of Kukshi tehsil of the district. Kukshi is a part of the Nimar to the northeast, Barwani to the southeast, and Alirajpur and Jhabua to the west. Kukshi has a subtropical climate, which is made up of a hot, dry summer , and a cool, dry winter. The average rainfall is about 45inches per year.
