Mangaldoi (also spelt as Mangaldai) (Assamese: ) is a town and a municipal board in Darrang district in the Indian state of Assam. It was named after "Mangaldahi" who was the daughter of the [Raja] of Darrang and who was married to the Ahom King [Pratap Singha]. Mangaldoi is located at 2626N 9202E / 26.43N 92.03E / 26.43; 92.03. It has an average elevation of 34m (112ft). As of 2001 India census, Mangaldoi had a population of 23,854. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mangaldoi has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85%, and female literacy is 76%. In Mangaldoi, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age. Magaldoi is part of Mangaldoi (Lok Sabha constituency).
