Murgod is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Saundatti taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka. As of 2001 India census, Murgod had a population of 11033 with 5537 males and 5496 females. Murgod - "Mooru gudda" (meaning three hills). People's living in this village main occupation is farming.
