Nainwan (Nepal Bhasa: , is a tehsil of district Bundi) and a municipality in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan state in northwest India. Nainwan is located at 2546N 7551E / 25.77N 75.85E / 25.77; 75.85. It has an average elevation of 291metres (954feet).The town nainwan is situated 95km from Kota and 165km from Jaipur. As of 2001 India census, Nainwa had a population of 15,172. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nainwan has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 48%. In Nainwan, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age. Name of city nainwan was given by prince Nainsingh. There is a college which name is Bajrm College, situated on Nainwan-Kota road, 2km from main city and affiliated with Kota University. There is a senior secondary school and a secondary school for girls.
