Nambiyur is a panchayat town and Panchayat Union in Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The town named after a small ruler "Nambi", who is mentioned in one of the Eswaran Kovil stone carvings. Nambiyur is located at 1122N 7720E / 11.37N 77.33E / 11.37; 77.33.
