Navalgund or Navalagunda is a panchayat town in Dharwad district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Navalagunda or Navilagunda ( or ) means hill of peacocks. Navalgund is located at 1534N 7522E / 15.57N 75.37E / 15.57; 75.37. It has an average elevation of 578metres (1896feet).
