Parola is a city and a municipal council in Jalgaon district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located on the Hajira .As of 2001 India census,[2] Parola had a population of 34,800. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Parola has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 61%. In Parola, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
