Patoda is a tehsil in Beed subdivision of Beed district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Patoda is the one of the important taluka of the Beed district.Patoda is situated on banks of river Manjra,which is a tributary of river Godavari. Manjra originates near Patoda which is also known by the name Wanjara / Vanjara. Near Patoda, there is a famous place called Sautada, which has Rameshwar mandir. There is a small waterfall and rift supposedly created by God Rama by striking arrow there. Gahininath gad,hanuman gad,ashwaling (temple of kartik swami) are also famous religious places in patoda block. Every year Wamanbhau maharaj and bhagawan baba punyatihi celebrated inlarge scale.
