Rajula is a city and a municipality in Amreli district in the Indian state of Gujarat. As of the 2001 Indian census, Rajula had a population of appro. more than 80,393. Males constituted 51% of the population and females 49%. Rajula has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%, with male literacy at 72% and female, 55%. In Rajula, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age. Rajula was a small village protected by darbars garashiya and developed mainly by bania kapol community. most of the educational, cultrual, religious and medical institutions were started and financed by kapol community.
