Rise of the planet apes was alright ..the apes get the knowledge equal to humans and then revolt and go away so that they are free.. but now they can ride horses and shoot guns? I mean come on.. what's next? They will be riding jets and going to space with spaceships? They should atleast keep a bit of reality in check.. the plot was OK so it gets a 3 star.

I wasnt expecting much because the first part was not so great but this movie proved me wrong. Clever writing, Great direction and VFX, Beautiful cinematography and a brilliant performance from Andy Serkis makes it one of the best movies of 2014. Andy Serkis's second best performance after Gollum in The Lord of The Rings.

there are very few films that show animals also have feelings and humans always bully them and this one of the best among them.
