Rudrapur (Hindi: ) is a city and a municipal board in Udham Singh Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.It comes under one of the most fertile ares of India,i.e. TARAI Region.It is also known as Mini Chandigarh,as the maximum population is of Punjabi and that it has been made in a planned way. As of 2011 India census, Rudrapur had a population of 1,50,000. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rudrapur has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 67%.
