About Sakri

Sakri (Marathi: ) is a small town in the Dhule District of the Nashik division one of the six divisions of India's Maharashtra state. Another Sakri is in Bihar, which is now a railway junction. It is located on National Highway 6 running between Hazira (near Surat) in Gujarat to Kolkota, West bengal. Balsane and Mangiji-Tungiji are two prominent Jain pilgrim centers very close to Sakri. Sakri Tahasil has more than 200 small villages, most of tribes live in those villages such as Konkani, Mavachi, Bhill, Vanjari.
