Shadnagar is a town and assembly constituency in the Ranga Reddy district in Telangana, India.[1] Recently it turned into municipality. Shadnagar and Farooqnagar are called twin towns.Shadnagar, has a very prominent place in Telangana. The town is situated 48 km from Hyderabad and 30 km from Shamshabad International airport and located on national highway N.H 7. A well-known personality like Bill Gates has visited the place to experience the rural vista of India Bill gates inaugurated the govt. hospital in shadnagar. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is just 25 km away from the town. It also has a good road connectivity to Bangalore, Mumbai and Vijayawada. When it comes to education, there are many schools, engineering and degree colleges set up across the town. Industrially Kothur, Kondurg and Thimmapur are very well established.
