Srirampur is located at 2257N 8801E / 22.95N 88.02E / 22.95; 88.02. It has an average elevation of 19metres (62feet). It is located on the agriculturally rich alluvial plains between the Bhagirathi, Ajay and Damodar rivers. Temperatures in this region varies from 17-18C in winter to 30-32C in summer. it is on the banks of Balluka river, which then joins the Behula, and finally the latter flows into the Bhagirathi.
