Srirampur (Bengali: ) is a census town under Purbasthali police station of Kalna subdivision in Bardhaman in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Srirampur is located at 2257N 8801E / 22.95N 88.02E / 22.95; 88.02. It has an average elevation of 19metres (62feet).
It is located on the agriculturally rich alluvial plains between the Bhagirathi, Ajay and Damodar rivers. Temperatures in this region varies from 17-18C in winter to 30-32C in summer. it is on the banks of Balluka river, which then joins the Behula, and finally the latter flows into the Bhagirathi.
As of 2001 India census, Srirampur had a population of 17,715. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Srirampur has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 63%.
