Srivaikuntam is located at 837N 7756E / 8.62N 77.93E / 8.62; 77.93. It has an average elevation of 17metres (55feet). The town is located on the north bank of the Thamirabarani river. It is 30 KM east of Tirunelveli and 30 KM west of Tiruchendur.
