Vadipatti is a panchayat town in the Madurai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Population of the town is 21,833. As of a 2001 Indian census, Vadipatti had a population of 21,780. Males and females each constitute 50% of the population. Vadipatti has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 61%.
