Varca is a census town in South Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. Varca is located at 15.22N 73.92E.[1] It has an average elevation of 0 metres (0 feet). Varca is renowned for it beaches, hence it has become a popular destination for tourists. The row of wooden fishing boats seen on the beach belong to the Christian fishing community. Popular beach resorts in Varca include the Ramada Caravela Beach Resort, ZURI White Sands Resort, the Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort[2] As of the 2001 India census,[3] Varca had a population of 4859.
