About Vidisha

Vidisha (Hindi: ) is a city in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, located near the state capital Bhopal. Vidish is the administrative headquarters of Vidisha District. The city was also known as Bhilsa during the medieval period. Vidisha is located at 2332N 7749E / 23.53N 77.82E / 23.53; 77.82. It has an average elevation of 424metres (1391feet).
