Afuang is a 1988 Tagalog-language Action film written by Abner Afuang, Tony Tacorda and Amado Lacuesta. The movie is directed by Mike Relon Makiling and produced by Ramon Salvador under the banner of Viva Films. The film is based on the life of Abner Afuang, a former police officer who was a Pagsanjan mayor by the time the film was released. Afuang stars Phillip Salvador, Eddie Garcia, Mark Gil, Marianne De La Riva, Charlie Davao, Zandro Zamora and Roger Moring. The music was composed by Jun Latonio. Cinematography was done by Sergio Lobo and Ver Reyes and editing by Ike Jarlego Jr. The film has a running time of 105 minutes. It was released on 25th February 1988.
